Statement from Oklahoma County DP:
The Oklahoma County Democratic Party absolutely condemns this type of disgusting racist and homophobic behavior. Racism and bigotry are sicknesses that must be stamped out in Oklahoma and across America. Any individual who would do something like this is mentally unstable and needs professional help and deprogramming. It is our duty as compassionate Americans to call out racism and strongly condemn it, and to fight until all People are treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve.

Leader Virgin Issues Statement after ODP Vandalized
OKLAHOMA CITY – House Minority Leader Emily Virgin (D-Norman) released the following statement in response to reports of racist graffiti found at the Oklahoma Democratic Party headquarters this morning.
“This incident is horrific and too common across the country,” Leader Virgin said. “These symbols are hurtful and reminiscent of a dangerous and scary time in our world’s history. I look forward to the day we all work to build each other up rather than tear each other down. Until that day, I will continue to condemn these hateful and ignorant acts.”
